Subject: Complaint to
address the woefully damaged road condition
Dear Madam,
Being a responsible
citizen and a member of the Kairali Nagar Residence Association, it
is with deepest regret that I have to bring to your notice the
substantial conditions of roads in our locality. The present
status of the road condition is totally unacceptable with the roads
full of pot holes.
Since
the concerned road is the main passage to SreeNarayanaVidyapeetam
Public School and remains busy practically during the school timings,
buses and cars running on them invariably get stuck in traffic jam.
Students get late for school, parents are late for office and in some
extreme cases even hospital cases are getting delayed.Autorickshaw
drivers are unwilling to take a ride to our locality due to the
worst condition of the roads. If at all that happens, extra fare is
charged on us.
In addition to this, lack
of drainage cover is also a great concern. Many students and
vehicles fall in this drainage which creates an even bigger chaos.The
bad condition of roads also causes severe damage to the running
vehicles. It is well expressed fact that we pay a huge amount of
vehicle tax. Hence it is our fundamental right to have a better roads
for our vehicle.
Inspite of the numerous
times that we, the local residents have tried to inform the local
authority by both verbal and written means, no concrete actions has
been taken regarding the grave situation. Hence we would like to take
the opportunity to request you to look into the matter urgently and
do the needful .Otherwise the situation may get worse from delays and
frustrations to accidents and heartbreaks.
